Blue gummy heart studs

My name is Amelia and I make jewellery to raise money for charity.

I’m 12 years old and have a rare medical condition called Congenital Hyperinsulinism.

This means I’m prone to severe and persistent hypoglycaemia. If you’re familiar with Type 1 Diabetes, imagine the exact opposite. If you aren’t, it means I have dangerously low blood sugars, that require constant monitoring and intervention.

Life for me has always been tricky. I have a severe form and treatments for the condition have always been limited. It also means at 12 years old, I still have a PEG feeding tube.

I raise money so that it can go some way towards contributing to the much needed research and family days.

The charity support children like me, so that one day, they have a much better start to life.
